Annie Shanks, ChFC®, LUTCF®

Annie Shanks, ChFC®, LUTCF® has over twenty five years of experience in the fields of insurance, investments & finance. Born in and raised in Windsor, Great Britain Annie worked for the British tax office while attending school for a higher education credential. She migrated to the USA in 1986 working in financial services in SLO County.

As a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) Annie completed one of the most extensive educational programs required for any financial services credential. Each ChFC® has taken nine or more college-level courses on all aspects of financial planning and 18 hours of supervised exams.

Annie enthusiastically stays connected and informed within her industry, prides herself on excellent Client service and loves to volunteer for community organizations.

A Past President of her Rotary Club, The Human Resources Association of the Central Coast & our Local Chapter of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors, plus various board & committees with SLO Chamber, SLO County Community Foundation, Women’s Initiative for the Alzheimer’s Association and the YMCA.

Annie lives in SLO with her husband Doug. She likes delicious food, wine and will golf with anyone who asks her.
